Object Detector Application

The Object Detector application detects common objects, logs the detections, and texts you when it detects objects that you are interested in. It also is a CNN (convolutional neural networks) authoring tool that you can use to create custom CNNs to detect practically anything you want using deep-learning training techniques.

Out of the box, Object Detector detects 80 different common objects: including bicycles, cats, dogs, people, pizza, chairs, etc.  However, if you want to detect something that isn’t in the list of common objects, it can guide you through the process of creating your own detection network.  Additionally, detection images can be uploaded to Google Photos, or texted to you.
